Bali’s Environmental Challenges
Bali, like the rest of the world, is facing multiple environmental threats such as climate change, habitat degradation, and biodiversity loss. The Island’s rapid development and infrastructure modernization have intensified its environmental challenges which are further compounded by a lack of sustainable practices in developments.
Recognizing this, and acknowledging our own role in these dynamics, our perspective on luxury is still evolving.
Responsible luxury - a new approach to property development in Bali
True luxury is the privilege of living our best lives while being gentle on our shared home and its people. We believe we all have a part to play, and our team is committed to making your property investment high ROI while being lighter on the planet.
As property developers, we recognize the need to preserve Bali’s natural beauty, and we are committed to playing our part in better development practices.
OUR PLEDGES
Clean Water for All
SOCIAL
How much would your life change if you lost access to potable water tomorrow? Unfortunately, this is a reality for many in more remote parts of Bali. We want to change that for as many people as we can. We have a 2-fold approach:
-
Water Filter Distribution – We will fund the purchase and distribution of easy-to-use water filters, turning tap water into safe drinking water.
-
Community, Outreach & Education – With the help of our on-the-ground partner, we will fund training for communities on proper filter use and maintenance. This is important for the long-term success of the project and to ensure we maximize the impact of this initiative.
We have already funded the purchase of water filters and training for 100 families in Bali. With a part of the proceeds from villa sales funding this project, we seek to expand these efforts to hundreds more families.
Protecting Bali’s Land
ENVIRONMENT
With every villa sale, we will contribute to the launch of a dedicated fund dedicated to safeguarding environmentally sensitive areas of Bali. This fund will specifically focus on investing in land we would never develop, ensuring the preservation of its natural ecosystem.
Our vision is to protect regions with the potential to house rich biodiversity, nurturing thriving ecosystems where local flora and fauna can flourish. We acknowledge that the nature of our business has impacts on land use. Bearing this in mind, we seek to play a role in supporting preservation efforts in Bali to preserve land where local flora and fauna can thrive.

Supporting Ongoing Efforts
Clean Energy: We prioritize the use of solar panels in our villas whenever regulations allow. While regulation limitations exist, we're continuously exploring renewable energy solutions to sustainably power your villas for the long term.

Sustainable Construction: We reduce embodied energy in construction by optimizing the use of natural and recycled materials, high-performance concrete, and even collected rainwater.

Empowered Local Communities: We give first consideration to local businesses and service providers to foster a thriving Balinese economy where their experience, knowledge, and land familiarity are valued.
SOCIAL
Find the most effective ways to contribute to the local community
We are currently in the process of researching and identifying specific ways in which we can contribute to, and make a positive impact on the local community. As part of this effort, we are engaging with local experts to gather recommendations on the most effective ways to contribute. We are committed to finding meaningful and impactful ways to support the community, and will provide specific solutions and updates as they become available.
GOVERNANCE
We are committed to transparency and accountability
We will produce annual reports to show our progress towards carbon neutrality, including the amount of carbon emissions we reduce and offset and the steps we are taking to reduce our impact on the environment.
